The people of La Plata Communities were saddened to hear of the passing of Jon Campbell,
founder of Campbell Homes. Jon was a Briargate builder from the very beginning of the
master planned community in 1980. Campbell Homes built approximately 900 homes in
Briargate. Jon built homes in Briargate & Pine Creek and Campbell Homes continues to build
in Cordera.

Over 550 people attended the Jazz in the Park event at the Cordera Grand Lawn on August
13th! In partnership with the Imagination Celebration and the Pikes Peak Jazz & Swing
Society, Cordera was thrilled to host the 2nd annual jazz concert at the Cordera park.

August 14, 2008 – La Plata Communities, Inc., the developer of Pine Creek, is pleased to announce
that their
original plan and vision for the orderly and professional transition of the Pine Creek Village
Association (“PCVA”)
has been met. La Plata transferred control of the PCVA to Pine Creek homeowners on June 30,
2008.
